"Lord, I Lift Your Name on High" este o cântare creștină de închinare. Atât versurile, cât și muzica au fost scrise de Rick Founds în 1989.
Founds a compus-o în timpul devoțiunii de dimineață: citea Scriptura pe monitorul calculatorului, se uita la televizor și, în același timp, ciupea corzile chitarei. S-a gândit atunci la "ciclul răscumpărării", comparându-l cu circuitul apei în natură.
Founds a cântat-o ca lider muzical în biserica lui. A fost preluată de Maranatha! Music și înregistrată mai întâi de Maranatha! Singers, apoi de Praise Band. Organizația Promise Keepers a folosit cântarea, în engleză și spaniolă, în campaniile sale.
Din anii '90 încoace, este una dintre cele mai populare cântări creștine. În Statele Unite, Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) a raportat-o drept cea mai folosită cântare în biserici în fiecare an între 1997 și 2003, iar de atunci a rămas constant în primele zece. În prezent este pe locul 24 în clasament. CCLI UK o raporta la mijlocul lui 2006 drept a cincea cea mai tipărită, proiectată sau înregistrată cântare, iar în Australia era, la începutul lui 2007, a șaptea cea mai folosită.
Au existat nenumărate interpretări ale cântării, de la mulți artiști și în toate stilurile: gospel, R&B, soul, rock, dance, reggae, hip hop, rap, soca, ska, punk, a cappella și altele. A fost tradusă în numeroase limbi și înregistrată în numeroase țări.

Lord, I Lift Your Name on High" is a Christian worship song. Both lyrics and music were written by Rick Founds in 1989.
Founds wrote it during his morning devotion, while reading the scriptures on his computer monitor, and watching television, he plucked his guitar at the same time. He thought of the "cycle of redemption", comparing it with the water cycle.
Founds played the song as a worship leader in his church. It was picked up by Maranatha! Music and initially recorded by the Maranatha! Singers followed by the Praise Band. Promise Keepers used the song in English and Spanish in their drives.
Since the 1990s, it has been one of the most popular Christian songs. In the United States, Christian Copyright Licensing International (CCLI) reported Lord I Lift Your Name on High as the most popular song used in churches every year from 1997 to 2003, and has remained in the top ten ever since. Currently it is number 24 on the list.CCLI UK report it as the fifth most popular printed, projected or recorded song in mid-2006. In Australia this song was the seventh most used song by the beginning of 2007
